UPDATE2: See PAGE 3 of topic for Keith/Hugh video etc.
NOTE - EVERYTHING PHOTOS/VIDEOS posted ON THIS TOPIC by foxy BELONGS TO FOXY - by law in fact. Not to be posted/distributed elsewhere in any shape or form. Think those of us who were there can each have their own topic for a little while. It will make it easier to update to track for the moment. I did put a rushed post on the Premiere photos topic, which many would have missed, to say I had some excellent video of Nicole and of Keith. Not together at the point they came to us. I am trying to make the video but it will not come out as well as how I can see it so working on that. Possibly tired. We had a very very long trip home. As I mentioned yesterday I was lucky enough to be shepherded onto the "bleaches" on the Red Carpet, although I think katekidman had a better postition still! And no idea a this point what other Aussie members have managed. Waiting before the event We got there about 3.30pm and at that stage there were not a lot of people apart from the organisers and the police. We experimented with a few places to stand but the police shifted us. Actually this is the first time in my life I have encountered rude policemen and I have been at places in the past where trouble was expected. Talking with others waiting they also had the same problem and we could not stop talking about it. It was not confined to one policeman. At least 3 were extremely rude for some reason. Sure we may have gone and stood in the wrong place but there was nothing at all to indicate it was the wrong place and a gentle request was all that sufficed. 2 of the people who complained about the police were around 70-80 I think they said. THe problem was that noone knew what to do with those who turned up early. Then we were told at 5 pm they would let us go behind a barrier near the red carpet, and it would be whoever got there first when the time came. Close to 5pm we moved a bit closer and the police got angry with us again because we were not lining up properly apparently. They all must have got up on the wrong side of the bed if they felt that is the way you speak to those of us waiting for 2 hours and who had been moving where ever we had been told to go. Anyway at 5pm all was redeemed when we were allowed into behind the bleaches and some of us got seats. Not being pushy I let people run past me nearly knocking over the old folks, and missed the last seat in the front row. However I think that worked out fine as the video would have been too close in the front row and my main aim in going was not to meet the celebrities but to try and capture the moment for those who could not be there. To Come What will come from foxy? Hopefully some good video of Nicole, and Keith. And of Brandon so sweetly taking forever to sign something, a very fleeting Hugh and Baz. It seems when more people turned up Hugh and Baz got caught up at the further end of the red carpet and had to rush down. Sadly as I wanted to speak to Baz and had really hoped he would have a few seconds close to our seats like Nicole and Keith. Actually I think Nic and Keith showed how much more they are used to being in the public eye, and being aware of the fans who have turned up, as both of them made a very deliberate attempt to move the whole way along the line and not miss anyone and for that I felt like giving them a hug..but did not of course  Plus a description of everything I could see if anything left over from katekidman's experince. Bet she did not have an African wooden head near her though Next post I will put just a few screen caps. Which for some reason known only to those who have had sleep, is only 2 of Nicole and 3 of Keith. But plenty more stuff to come. UPDATE 1 Nicole Nicole and Keith must have arrived about 7.10pm we think. A lot of oohing and aahing began up the far end of the carpet and then Nicole could be seen on the big screen up that end. We did not see her near us until people started jumping out of their seats and we assumed we had better too. The video starts with a tiny bit of excitement then Nicole comes into view among the heads, then close up, then moves to where the photographers were near the entrance to the cinama. To our left a little further down was the board the stars posed in front of for photos. In the video you can see the oldish chap in front of me give a photo to Nicole. It was a photo of Sammy Davis Jnr. I had talked to him beforehand and from the conversation I could not work out why he thought to give her this photo but he was a lovely sweet guy. He was telling me that he had met up with Keith not long ago and Keith had taken a photo of him with Nicole for him. So the photo of Sammy Davis Jnr was a thank you. When I do the video for Keith, you can see him talking to the chap. Keith seemed to remember him too. Videos: Directions for downloading video (do NOT run interactively) 1. Right click once only on the following URL (left click if using left-handed mouse) 2. Click on the words "Save Target As"  VIDEO: foxy's personal video of Nicole on the Red Carpet approx 35MB (wmv) David Gulpilil A very very quick video of David Gulpilil - in part short because I cut a little bit out where I called out to him . The Wooden Head carving belonged to an Irish guy who kept on trying to get the stars to hold it. Some were quite happy to do it - the guys. He did not try Nicole. Foxy, I am so happy for you getting to go to the premiere. That was a once in a lifetime experience to be at the biggest movie in the Australian film industry.

I agree with the others, you captured fabulous photos and to be at the biggest premiere of Nicole's career, I suspect, is a memory you will have for a very long time.
