AHHHHH!
just got back from the red carpet!
Spoke to Baz, Nicole and Hugh, Brandon, Catherine Martin, Keith!!


It was amazing!!!
If anyone was there and saw them sitting down getting interviewed and heard some crazy person yelling out "WE LOVE YOU NICOLE" or "WE LOVE YOU BAZ"

yeah thats was me!
hahaha.



I have hundreds of photos!
Can someone tell me how to put them on?? Editing by foxy - now taken care of!

hey I just thought I'd give a run down of my experience.

It was such a stroke of luck that we got such an amazing spot.

My friend Amanda and I got to George Street around 4.45pm and first we walked down the side of the cinema but there was literally 1000 people all trying to walk different ways and police were screaming at everybody to 'keep moving'.
Like Foxy said I've never been near police that were that mean before.

So then we thought we were stuffed because we couldn't get a spot to stand and the whole cinema side was sealed off from the public so the paparazzi could take pictures, and then my friend saw all these people rushing over to the other side to where the seats were, so we made mad dash over too, almost breaking our legs on the wet floor and getting hit by cars crossing the road!

We were dissapointed because we missed out on seats and that we were stuck behind a bunch of camera's, until this lady turned around and whispered to me that they were going to have interviews with the stars there!


NOW we were pleased!
haha.

So we waited about 2 hours or so, with the raining pouring down on us (we had both forgotten a umbrella - smart people I know) and with our feet dying from standing. hehe.

A lot of stars walked down past us and my friend (being a huge australian television fan) was freaking out. I had to remind her that we were about to see world superstars!

Then finally at about 7.15pm we saw the fabulous Hugh Jackman getting out of the car!
And he walks straight over to the interview seats.
Everybody behind us was freaking out at this stage, pushing forward and trying to get pictures.
And someone even broke the strap of my top in their excitement!
So I'm pretty sure I flashed Hugh jackman!


Anyway!
Then came Baz, I actually missed him walking in! But when I turned back to the interview chairs he was sitting there with Catherine Martin!
I don't think the people around me new who they were so I was like "Catherine, Baz!" and they both smiled and waved at me.


Then the stunning Nicole came and people once again went absolutely crazy!
When you see Nicole you cannot take your eyes off her, she is amazingly beautiful as you all know.
She seemed to glow..


And then she sat down next to Baz, and I couldn't stop myself once again and I yelled out "we love you Nicole!" and she grinned and said thank you!
And poor Baz was rejected so I called out "we love you as well Baz!" and Nicole started laughing and Baz was like "aw thats so kind! I'm an aussie chap!"

Channel 9 crew also laughed at me.

So all in all, the rain, the sore feet, the broken top, the thumps in the head by the crowd was all worth it too see those amazing people.

Thanks for the writeup Katek . I am glad you did a great enthusiastic one. Mine is bit bare at the moment..especially of smilies

Dont worry about not bringing an umbrella. I took one and it was too hard to try and use it. It either banged into the one of the person next to me, or the person in front if I moved forward, or blocked the view of those behind. I did not use it in the end and that is why the rain dripped off the ends of the umbrella next to me - right down the inside of my top at the back. What you need for something like that is a waterproof light plastic raincoat with a hood so you can keep your arms free to hold your camera. I had one...back in the car.

Nicole walked about with her umbrella as if it were nothing. She was very adept at coping with it. Me I would have stabbed all the fans in the eye..accidentally of course.



Katekidman - I have not received the other photos still. Strange. But dont worry about rushing them off again as I will not be up late tonight. A nice soft bed is calling me right now.
