Thank you so much cinema1 for that photo of the poster. I don't know, I thought they were going to use a brand new, unknown picture but apparently they haven't got any others but the ones we know.
It's a beautiful picture but I must say that I was struck more by another one. It inspired one of the avatars I used a while ago. I thought it was beautiful.

Can't wait for more surprises

Luv,
Marie Xx

FUR loods oscar worthy guys. Can't wait to see what happens later this year. I hope the film gets lots of nods at Cannes.

I dare say the finished version will differ greatly.  Isn't the movie being shot in black and white, like the photographs Arbus was known for?

Red: If true, this is news to me. I had no idea this was going to be a BW film.

Polaris, check out the "Great Fur Buzz" thread started today by cinema1:

Someone who has supposedly seen the rough cut of Fur (although they give precious few details) reports that the cinematography switches back and forth from b/w to color.

Martini.gif Great! I just hope the switch between BW and color is not for something as lame as flashback. I have a feeling that it might be a device for something much more ingenious. Here's hoping for a great film.

Thanks, cinema1.

With the dark hair, NK looks like her sister, Antonia.

sunny.gif hello[1].gif I'm Gracie and this is my first post on NKU. SatineKidman, I agree with you on the best picture for the Fur poster (the profile). It looks a lot more like Nicole than the Fur picture selected for the poster.
Also, I think the studio will really have to work to make Fur successful, at the box office. Most people will not be familiar with Diane Arbus or her contribution to photography. Well known people such as historical figures and celebrities (Marilyn Monroe, James Dean) might produce a wider audience for a bio pic.

Welcome from me too Gracie hello[1].gif .

For myself I like the one on the Poster very much. It does not need to look like Nicole - in fact I am sure Nicole would love it if people said 'is that Nicole? it does not lok like her!'. She used to laugh about it with people who would see The Hours and then ask where Nicole was in the film. lol.gif
