i seriously think my heart skipped a beat! thanks nicfan! one red carpet appearance coming up (in waayyy too long a time!). so excciting! maybe she'll win her first award there but i'm just glad we'd hear from the movie and not excruciatingly wait until november!

Also guys, usually when a film is announced to go to a festival, we usually start getting the posters and trailers for promotion(that's how it's been so far this season) so perhaps we will see something soon.

I just checked the Picturehouse forums(where posters such as skanky and nicolefan19 have been on the frontline to get to the bottom of the lack of news,
) and now according to the Picturehouse Webteam, the trailer will be available in a few weeks. Not lets hope they aren't lying to us.

I've scanned two articles from today's Italian newspaper La Repubblica about Nic opening Rome film festival. Here they are:
Spettacoli Cronaca di Roma In the first article there are the usual things about the alleged rivalry between Rome Film Festival and Venice Film Festival, a comment on Fur (they say this film is apparently no less dramatic than The Hours) and something about the other scheduled movies. The author of the second article says that before becoming an actress Nic was a fashion model (really?), then tells the plot of Nicole's Italian movie "Un'australiana a Roma" and reveals that when she was just 13, Nicole got a part in an Italian film directed by Pasquale Festa Campanile, called "Qua la mano!" and starring A. Celentano and Enrico Montesano; apparently, while filming Nicole "lost her head" for Roman producer Fabrizio Mosca! Well, I had never heard of these things before and I'm afraid the journalist is making up a few things or at least mixing reality with fiction... Sorry for that. Ciao |
