 Fur Movie In Uk/ireland, What Happened? |

Fur was advertised to be shown in cinemas in the UK & Ireland on 10. November, but till now nothing has been shown. It has suddenly disappeared from advertisments and no one seems to know what has happened to it. Do any of you have any idea what has happened to it? Also, when will God Grew Tired of Us be shown in this region?

I found the release dates for the golden compass in this site: http://www.uk-cinema-release-dates.co.uk/
I think it is December the 7th in the UK. Hope that helps.  Welcome samwack...I dont think I have seen you here before.

On the above site, it shows The Golden Compass premiering in the UK on Dec 7, 2007.
However, there is no mention of Fur. As far as I can tell, Fur just dropped out of distribution everywhere on the planet and the next possible place you can find it in a few months (or a year?...) will be in DVD form. (If you want to, thank Picturehouse for that...)

According to Total Film magazine, the UK release date is 1st March 2007 http://www.totalfilm.com/future_films/fur I would go with this date.

Thanks, Foxy, for the information. It's good to know Fur does have a release date in the UK, and hopefully in Australia and a lot more countries. (I'm in the U.S. and I got to see Fur but I am interested in what other NKU members think of Fur. I'm looking forward to comments from fans in the U.S. and in other countries.)
