I am not holding out much hope for this film at this stage. I've read a full review of a test screening in LA last night. Basically Nicole is wasted in this film...her character is not that challenging to play...performance not bad but the reviewer mentions that it has some of the worst editing he has ever seen sob.gif and blames the meddling of the studio and reshoots. I know it's only one review and the editing may change...but it basically highlights what most feared.

In all honesty, reading that piece, it seems they just tested a whole bunch of reels of film. I find it hard that Warners will release the movie like that. Whatever Hirschbiegel created sounded like something worthwhile, it will be interesting to see what they do with it.

Ahah..that article got mentioned here. That means I can close the new standalone topic on it. I made some comments about it there - like it being just one person who could even be a troll tester (basing that on a comment from a site I saw which said that happens and he hoped that was all it was!)

my sister and cousins saw the opening in burbank, CA too, so don't believe all those rumors.

She said that it wasn't 'perfect,' but it was still enjoyable. All those rumors about people laughing in the end, supposedly? Those aren't true either, according to my sister, so don't believe them and see it for yourself on film =).
