From Bluebell come the scans from the Ladies Home Journal where, surprise things are not quite as the blaring headlines are making out.

Thanks so much Bluebell. I know you feel your scans are not the best quality but we can see what is in them. Most interesting. And they will be excellent til we can get the HQ scans one day. I know everyone will appreciate seeing these ones very much. I do. And I may be able to work on the scans a bit for you when I have time.

Oh wow!

Nicole looks beautiful and I love the hair color. It would be so great (to me) if she´d have that hair color more often and maybe on the Toronto Film Festival.

I am so looking forward to watching that movie.

That photo is so strange it actually looks like a computer generated image of Nicole and Jennifer. Is that photo credited to any photographer? Nicole looks so different to how she is now and looks like those badly photoshopped pictures of her in last years LHJ. LHJ, seriously need to dipense with their photoshopper

ETA...I see it credited to Brigette Lancomb....I actually though it was a generated image

Maybe, LHJ is using the same airbrusher as Entertainment Weekly, . They airbrush their pics to the point of creating new faces! Did they look at that pic and went "alright"?

You´re right. The pic looks a little too unnatural and photoshoped. The only thing I like on the photo is Nicole´s hair colour.

But on the other things of the pic I only can say: Ditto!

Thank you, Bluebell and Foxy. I enjoyed this and was able to read it. I found this article to be warm and invigorating and very insightful into Nicole's personality. I am used to the LHJ and Goodhousekeeping airbrushing pictures--I think they overdid this one a little in LHJ but it wasn't half as bad as what another magazine did with a picture of Faith Hill a couple of weeks ago. It got letters from the readers. Faith, Nicole, and Jennifer are very beautiful women and have gorgeous figures in their own natural state--they don't need this kind of artificial help. Airbrushing reminds me of these places on the strip where a woman any age can go in to these little photo kiosks and take a picture. They take only the picture of your face, airbrush it and superimpose it on a gorgeous model's body in a bikini--it looks eerily real even if you never looked that good in your life. Then they make regular photos or a poster out of it or put the image on a cup--it's fun to send it to all your friends and relatives you grew up with and gets a good laugh, but they know it's not really a younger you.

Thankyou Bluebell and Foxy. Will comment on article another time, when it's easier to read. Forget the tabloid trashy twist on things.
The pose for the pic of JJL and Nicole is rather nice.
The problem with air brushing is that they all start to look the same after a while, especially as you walk through the newspaper shops or supermarket and one magazine cover page after another stares out at you. Is that Scarlett or Britney, Kate or Cate, Meryl or Glenn? On it goes.
