Thanks to Meisha she has provided us with the 16 page scan in THE MEMBERS AREA ONLY rose4.gif


Just letting you all know that I just saw the vogue cover. The dress is long and different shades of green. It is a full body shot and she is leaning away so it is not a close up. It looks good from what I saw. I will try to post it, if you want to see it go to the fashion spot forum and you will find the cover there.

Hehe, I can't believe how easily the media lumped this photoshoot and the one by Patrick D. together. They are the ones who wrote the news about AL's shoot early this year and then the PD shoot and yet, they can't seem to work out what is what.

ETA: I just saw that it says PREGNANCY UPDATE, rollin.gif. And that begs the question, will Patrick D's pictures be used?

I also think it could be a green version of the red ballgown. It looks like they simply opened the Chinese-inspired collar for this pose -- but the neckline, the cap sleeves, and the mermaid tail are the same !

Great publicity for the movie -- I cannot recall any plug on a US VOGUE cover for any movie (" Nicole Kidman & Hugh Jackman in the Highly Anticipated Epic AUSTRALIA") in the past - maybe I have not just been looking ;)

Just guessing - but maybe the focus of the cover story will be on costume design, perhaps a more incisive feature than what was shown on the podcast? Unless it is really all about Australia the country and Australia the movie.

I think it is about the movie and of course, NK's pregnancy. Check out the one they did for Moulin Rouge in the Vogue subforum under the Magazines forum, it's Vogue 2000, it should give you an idea of what we may get.
