Of 33 active, well-developed DreamWorks projects, Steven Spielberg and Stacey Snider ponied up about $17 million for 16-17 they will produce, such as "Cowboys and Aliens." Paramount has the right to cherrypick the ones it wants to co-finance.

Another 17 pictures -- including "The Rivals," starring Nicole Kidman and Marion Cotillard -- stay at Paramount, with Spielberg able to co-finance which ones he chooses. If he doesn't co-finance, and he's a producer or director on any of those projects, he'll get his 7.5% gross deal.

And I am completely confused because this is one movie I have never heard her name attached to.

But I could see it in the future some time.

But Marion and Nicole on screen together (again after Nine) - great.

Sarah Bernhardt was a great tragic actress in the classical French drama, but she also shined in modern comedies of manners. She wrote novels, comedies and in 1907 she wrote her memoirs (English: “My Double Life” in 1908). She also was a talented sculptor and painter.

Eleonora Duse
Italian actress

Her career of the world – famous tragic actress in classic and modern roles began at the age of twenty years through international tours.
Duse played the sensitive type of women of the Art Nouveau. Passion and Raffinement des Fin de siècle connected with modern reality.
Her internalized and linguistically strong differentiated play became exemplary in the art of acting. She played plays of Sardou and Ibsen and she preferred the dramas of her friend D´Annunzio. Duse stopped acting at the age of 50 but she once again returned eleven years later.

I can't see the link but I do think Shakespeare in Love is a fantastic film (especailly Tom Stoppard's script is very brave and smart) alongside John Madden is talented director.
My favorite John Madden movie is Mrs Brown. Judi Dench gives a mind-blowing performance in this.
