Nicole Kidman's appearance in the three-minute-long Baz Luhrmann Chanel No 5 advert, which purports very convincingly to be a film trailer, has made a huge impact, not least because people will wonder how on earth it can be worth spending the reported £18m on one advert.

Chanel must have big expectations that the sales will increase susbstantially with NK's connection.

I was in Myers today & the counter was swarming with people wanting the stuff.
Plus i've made a friend of the lady behind the counter who knows i was in the ad.

Glad the ad is working. A run on Chanel No 5. And then they bring out the DVD as well and recoup all their costs.... well we think that is a good idea.

Cool the lady behind the counter knows you are in the ad Scott. She should magnify the photo with you in it and post it up too.
