Now I feel a little bit guilty because it is only now seeing those photos I remember there was something about Nicole hurting herself on set and I have forgotten about it. Even now I cannot recall the details. Call myself a Nicole fan. Shame foxy shame (to quote a not very nice radio interviewer in Melbourne who should have known better...obscure I know so just ignore folks.. local issue).

as far as i remember nicole tore her cartilage in one of her knees during filming of moulin rouge. she might perhaps still have some pain in this knee when she has to do action scenes.

ps: the rip in the knee prob. isnt a big deal. she probably needs it ripped in the movie because she fell or something? i mean she is running from these alien thingys right? so thats prob it.

Looking at the pics again (after a lapse of many months) I finally realized that at least one of the photos of "Nicole" (possibly several of them) are actually of her stand-in.
