Hi everyone,

I watched this movie in theater.

I was looking for The Invasion DVD coming out in Amazon and else where, I was thinking that i have to order the DVD from US (Normally they distributed in US first). And then I was shopping yesterday and saw this DVD. I was surprised and so happy to be owned. :)

Its pretty good movie. I liked it very much.

Thailand release DVD too

Yes i am from Singapore.

I've notice that all Nicole movies are doing well in singapore although it is small country. Their box office result is higher than big country like Thailand.

Asian loves Nicole Kidman. I wish she could come here and premier one of her new movie.

Wow!! Michael it's graet that TGC can make many money in your country
For Thailand it's No.1 chart for first day release and make high money till today
Thailand love Nic like Singapore becuse we are Asian ^_^

It's a pretty place
Even it's small country but so huge of everything
Especially art & mixed culture
Esplanard make me impression till today
If I have a chance I wanted back to your country again ^_^

Per Warner Bros. website, The Invasion DVD is not being released until Jan. 29. I find it odd that they would release it to Singapore and Thailand ahead of its Jan. 29 release??

I checked a supplier of international DVDs and they list
- Region 3 released 21 Dec 2007
- Region 1 released 8 Jan 2008
- Region 2 released 25 Feb 2008

So does that mean Micheal was sold an illegal copy or not? Wildwicky's post indicates it is OK, but from Meisha's article following it still seems possible it could be illegal. Glad you got to see it Micheal and I hope it is an OK version for everyone's sake!

NO WAY would i buy a pirated Nic film/DVD.

i bought it from a store in a mall not some kinda road side stall, theres alot of that in m'sia, and they do that openly, which i extremely hate.

It does look like the Asian markets are releasing it before the United States. The Hong Kong Version is now available on YesAsia.com (released on Dec. 28). I like the flexibility (especially if it's a movie you're dying to see) – I bought the HK Version of "The Others" way before its release in the States. Last week, I bought "Lust, Caution" (HK Version) so I don't have to wait until February 19.
